Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties is pleased to announce the appointment of Mario Scott, Pfizer Inc.; Manny Reyes, Cummings & Company Realtors; Lisa Snodgrass, Freedom Federal Credit Union; and Dr. Austin Hill, Harford Community College, to the organization’s Board of Directors.
Mario Scott, originally born and raised in Germany, has been a sales leader at Pfizer, Inc. for 17 years. He currently serves as a District Business Manager within the Vaccines Business Unit and his team is responsible for Maryland, Washington D.C, and Northern, VA. Scott is no stranger to giving back to the Harford County community. He has served as a Basketball Coach at Patterson Mill HS (2011-2015), John Carroll (2017-2018), and is currently at Edgewood HS (2018-current). Scott has worked with the Boys and Girls Club in the past and developed a Basketball Training program with the Edgewood Club location.
Manny Reyes, Buyer & Seller Specialist at Cummings & Company Realtors, has over 15 years of experience in sales and is among the top service provider in his field. Being the eldest of three sons of a dedicated carpenter and loving mother, Reyes realized early what hard work was and what it could provide, but he also realized what loving and caring for people can do for a community. Although he had a good foundation in New Jersey; where he grew up, it was in Harford County where he found opportunities to serve others. Reyes has impacted youth in the community by volunteering at both The Boys & Girls Club and The Junior Achievement Program teaching financial literacy.
Lisa Snodgrass currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at Freedom Federal Credit Union. She has spent most of her career working with financial institutions in the private sector. Snodgrass grew up in Harford County and is a proud graduate of Harford County Public Schools. For 7 years, she was a foster parent in Northern Georgia, hosting over 55 foster children at the time of the program. Snodgrass and her husband are proud parents to 4 children including 2 adopted foster children. Snodgrass brings an array of strengths to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties, including networking, relationship building, event planning, fundraising, and being resourceful.
Dr. Austin Hill, originally born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, is the newly appointed Director of Strategic Partnerships at Harford Community College. He has 10 years of teaching experience, having previously worked for Harford County Public Schools and Baltimore City Public Schools. Hill is very involved in multiple committees and organization within Harford County beginning from his days as a teacher and varsity basketball head coach at Edgewood High School. He currently sits on the board of The United Way in Harford County in addition to the Harford County Caucus of African American Leaders, to name just a few. Hill and his wife currently reside in Edgewood, Maryland, and are the proud parents of one amazing 1st grader.
