Feb. 18, 2021 — Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties and T-Mobile are excited to announce a new collaboration that focuses on expanding the Club on the Go program. The partnership, which will introduce program branding and customized Club mini-buses, will assist Boys & Girls Club’s effort to provide support and resources to kids and teens across Harford & Cecil Counties.
Club on the Go, Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties newest initiative, is a program bringing Club mini-buses into neighborhoods across the two counties to provide meals, on-demand programming, and fun for youth. Club on the Go is currently reaching youth and neighborhoods from Edgewood to Elkton, with more to come.
“Partnerships and community support are essential to making our new initiatives a reality. We are grateful to T-mobile for their investment in Club on the Go,” said Derek DeWitt, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties.
Phase one of the partnership will include customizing the exterior of the Boys & Girls Club mini buses with Club on the Go specific branding and outfitting the interiors with program specific amenities. Future plans in this partnership will focus on Club on the Go programming, such as; STEM, Passport to Manhood, Smart Girls, Healthy Lifestyles, and more.
