Licensed Child Care Program

K-5th Grade

Boys & Girls Clubs will offer licensed before and after school child care in several school locations for youth grades k-5 or at least 5 years of age. The licensed child care program is designed to provide a safe, fun, and affordable place for your kids to go during out-of-school time to connect with caring, trained, licensed professionals and engage in enriching programs and activities.

Tuition & Fees

Full-time
Before & After School Child Care: $190/per week

Part-time
After School Child Care: $95/per week

Registration Fee
A one-time $25 (non-refundable) registration fee must be paid in order to guarantee your child’s spot. 

Scholarships & Financial Assistance

Maryland Child Care Scholarship
The Child Care Scholarship (CCS) (formerly known as Child Care Subsidy or Voucher) Program provides financial assistance with child care costs to eligible working families in Maryland. Under the new scholarship rates, eligible families will not pay more that $2/per week for child care.

BGC Financial Assistance
Boys & Girls Clubs offers financial assistance to help individuals and families access the programs that are important to them.

 

Programs & Activities

  • Mindful Morning Program: Designed to help your student kick start their day. Through a combination of practice, discussions, and exercises, youth learn yoga; breathing and centering exercises; mindfulness practices; meditations. and awareness.
  • Power Hour/Homework Help: An engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners.
  • STEM: Our days are filled with building and programming robots,
    tinkering and making cool things, learning to program, and exploring all things STEM. The activity-based STEM curriculum connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly.
  • Triple Play: a comprehensive health and wellness program. It strives to improve the overall health of Club members by increasing daily physical activity, teaching them about good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.
  • Arts & Crafts, and more!
